What is the effective penetration for a cxb3590 36V @ 1750/1400/1050 and 700mA .
I am asking you because is a good idea and is your, I used to do long vegg and because of that I would like to know how tall can the plants be using COB.

Then the 4000k is better to use than the 3500k ?, I am asking because I am ready to order some cxb 3590 3500k cd, and I believe 4000k is better for both vegging and flowering or maybe I am wrong.
It will be standalone soil pots and I don't need to know anything else other than the lights as I am looking to use the most efficient lights other than HPS ones.
Thanks for your help.
14' x 16' =224 Sq ft
4k = 4000 watts / 224 = 17.8 x sq ft.
6k = 6000 watts / 224 = 26.7 x sq ft.
Are you sure that 4k or 6k will cover it? what kind of lights are you talking about?, maybe 6000 watts of CXB 3590 3500k will cover it, I know for sure HPS won't do it, I don't know if CMH will do...
Are these like better than a 1000 watts HPS? or at least will they yield the same.
Sun System LEC 630 Light Emitting Ceramic MH Fixture - 240 V w/ 3100 K Lamps.

It won't be divided the hole area will be used for vegging and then turned off for flowering, I believe that a 600 watts HID will only cover 3' x 3' and 1000 watts HID will cover 4' x 4', some people say that the double end 1000 watt HID will cover 5' x 5' and other says 6' x 6' I am not sure on...
What lights will you use in a 14' W x 16' L x 8' H ?. this room will be used for vegging and flowering, don't worry about the budget I just need to know what would be the best setup. Thanks In Advance
I believe that the way you installed the heat sinks are not correct as you are blocking the channels avoiding the air to flow freely wich will also force the fans making them to work harder, but that just me maybe I am wrong.
Thermal grease, also called thermal paste or thermal compound, is a substance used to promote better heat conduction between two surfaces and is commonly used between a microprocessor and a heatsink .
What is the maximum wattages that one can have out of CXA3070, CXA3590 Cob and also how do you calculate the wattages you will get according to the driver used?
Thanks In Advance.
1) What COB are you using?
2) How many COB are you using?
3) What Driver are you using?
4) What Heatsinks are you using?
5) How many watts are you getting?
6) What are the amps draw from the wall outlet?
7) If You have pictures of the lamp you have built, can you please post them?

Thank you all of you for your respond, I was searching on the net and found this led " Diamond Series EX-Veg - 5W CREE XT-E LEDs ", they have two models 200watts and 300 watts I am going to start reading the led diy as I am going to use a 14'x14' room for vegging only and if I am not mistaken...
