I see the use of this technique for say, confirming the clone only ultra rare cut you just paid $2000 for, but that only works if that cut was already scanned in to the database of DNA strains in the first place. I think having this kind of database would only lead to people patenting things...

I don't think anyone said this yet, but I just ran across a strain that GDP has called Snow Cap - Snow White (cat piss x Jack Herer) x Catpiss. I have never seen the finished product but it looks like it would be pretty cat pissy.
