Look at the color of the tubes in the t12 fixtures, A lot of free t12's that you'll get your hands on have 4100k's in them. They work, but 2700k or 6500k is more suitable for growing plants. I have plenty of experience growing with t12's though, and they aren't terrible. You just need to keep...

Mr Rabbit, the larger nurseries in my area carry ladybugs. I have never used them before though. Neem oil will kill them though, for sure.
