Make it sound like there 4 times ahead of the competition, i would love to know what type of ceramic substrate theyll try to convince us is a better thermal conductor then a metallic one
If its really loud like a ballast maybe contact the supplier, both a ballast and driver are constant current source so i could see a driver making 60 cycle hum or electronic noise but i cant imagine one sounding as loud as a ballast
My hbgs hum a bit when at full blast but there caseless drivers none of my sealed meanwells buzz that i can hear. Rectifing ac to dc does create alot of whats considered electronic noise, they all should hum or buzz just slightly even too low to hear. How loud of a buzz are we talking and does...
Yes i did use bad terminology and my electrical theory teacher would be angry with me but still a correct statement regarding dc and i preach grounding your fixtures earlier in this thread not many likes so. If you can get a meanwell driver to burn down a house then youve bypassed critical...
Its not claim, 2 volts per 50 feet is alot, that would be 4 volts per hundred feet. It is considered intollerable to have a circuit drop of 3 percent or greater when designing a circuit which 4 volts is, i said no greater then 50 feet as its a good rule of thumb. You probably wont see a...
Yeah i wouldnt recommend running them 50 feet away dc voltage drop is great, mine are in the room for extra heat during winter and its totally unnessary but i just like the control box for easy switching around
