I have a 4X4, ebb flow system but use a 600w. I average 1/2 pound every grow. Should i up to the 1000w, or is the 4X4 space a little small for a 1000w? Id say Veg 3-4 weeks, then flower. I do 9 plants in my set up, seems to fit the room nicely.

Dude, go way smaller. Do 1000w grow in one room. Why light up the whole house. Do an amount that you can tear down if you need to.

You can. A MH for veg is better, but you can use a HPS.

Oh man what a pain in the ass it is to clean a 70 gallon reservoir. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to get all the hardened nutrient slate off? Any products or strategies for that? Also, is it very important to clean it spotless between grows? ahhh, the annoying part of growing.

i use a 600w, but if height is an issue, id say flower at 12 to 14 inches like you say. Start small and see how the strain does. Of course if it gets to big you could always tie down and stuff like that, but it will take some trails to get it dialed in. Nobody is going to be able to give you an...

FYI, those could be put to flower right now. But if you wait longer they will get taller, so depends if you have good vertical height. If you top, make sure you veg them for like a week after you tip them at least.

Does your hood have glass piece in it? You could do what your saying and just have the air intake go through the hood and straight out. Is the room temperatures high also?

you could hook up the lamp to some ducting and and exhaust fan (if your hood is capable of connecting to some ducting). If not, u could look into getting a hood that you could do that with. But it appears that you don't have too much room in there. Other then that, you could get more osc fans...
