    Dwc air pump

Forgive my noobness on this subject. You're saying an air pump won't be putting out as many lph towards the end of the grow, as it did in the beginning? Surely then the same would apply for the water pump? If I do use a water pump, I assume I recycle the water from my res, through the water...

    Dwc air pump

Yeah I've already built my dwc bin. I'll be getting a bigger air pump and uv filter then. Is the point of the water pump solely for aeration? As in, is it because the force of the falling water creates an oxygen rich environment? If this is the case, it seems to me that a more powerful air pump...

    Dwc air pump

So is a waterfall better than an air pump? If so, could you link me to one on eBay so I can but it. Do you use that dutchmaster product continuously, as in, is it always in your res, or do you wash your roots with it?

    Dwc air pump

Hi guys, done plenty of soil grows, but this will be my first hydro. Using a home-made dwc bin. My question is the following; I bought an aquarium air pump which pushes out 100 lph. I didn't know what that would look like since I've never seen one in action, but I set it up and it looks weak...

    It simply wont stop flower!

lol dont worry dude, for a beginner, an ounce-ish per plant is pretty good, even experienced growers sometimes grow the odd plant or two that doesnt yield too well. That's not important though, I guarantee you that the fact that YOU'VE grown it will make it that much better for you!

    It simply wont stop flower!

Probs about an ounce and a half roughly, but who knows. Also, dont get excited when you cut the plant down and the buds weigh a fuckload... they will lose about 75% of their initial weight during the drying/curing process

    It simply wont stop flower!

    Blue cheese harvest?

Got mine from Dinafem. They've been quick to flower, on day 51 now, and yeah they stink.

    CO2

Forget it lol. The plant itself needs Co2 for photosynthesis, but the roots need oxygen.

    Blue cheese harvest?

What do you guys think? I'll take guesses on what day of flowering you think she's on. Chop or no chop? :D

    CO2

I assume you mean hooking up a line from your co2 to an airstone? Pointless because your roots need oxygen, not co2. Also, are you from gib?

    Lost cause?

Day 41 of flower, 1 sweet deep grapefruit and one blue cheese in my 1.5m x 1.5m tent under 600w hps. Was having major heat issues, bought a portable air con and it's still 30-35 degrees during lights-on, which is way too high. Humidity ranges from 45-75. Today I was inspecting them, and on the...

    Dwc/drip

Is the reason you don't need a drip system because the bubbles create humidity for the roots which are in the net pot, which is sufficient for those roots to survive? I'm guessing I will need a drip for the first few weeks though until the roots grow through the pot, or is there a way around this?

    Dwc/drip

Yeah, hydro in general seems to be a mysterious subject with more 'bro science' than actual tried&tested experience. That said, thanks for the info dude, much appreciated.

    Dwc/drip

Hey guys, Doing my first hydro grow and, as the title implies, I'm doing a drip/dwc. Now, I get the dwc, seems quite simple in terms of what equipment I need and how to set it up, but it's the drip part that confuses me. I'll obviously need a water pump, but I don't know which one. I've seen...

    dripper?

I'm new to dwc. Is it better to just leave the roots soaking in the water without having a dripper which cycles water from the bottom of your bucket back up and drip down the base of your stem and then back into the bucket? Is it necessasy, or does the bucket create enough humidity to cater for...

    Mindfuck about DWC

At the risk of sounding like a total noob, i have two questions about DWC which are really pissing me off. I'm an experienced grower, but have never grown soil-less. I've been looking endlessly for a straightforward answer but cant seem to get one so here goes: 1) how do you change the water in...
