    Ugh... Mold? Garbage?

I think you would find this answers a lot of your concerns: https://skunkpharmresearch.com/salvaging-moldy-material-2/ I'm not sure I would be overly concerned in your case, doesn't seem like things are that bad. So maybe you don't want to bother with the above. But if you have an...

    Glasshouse growing

Hey man. I've been growing in a polycarb greenhouse for a few years. Well, it is technically a converted high tunnel kit. But it's got water/power and all the usual greenhouse amenities. The main thing I struggle with is the larger temp. swings and the humidity. Especially towards late...

Can this get any f*cking worse. ALL HERMIED

I don't believe so. Again. Hard to tell what's going on fully without being there to look at the plant. But the pictures are not of male flowers, and I don't see any random bananas in the background of any of the pictures, so I think you are probably good. I can't be certain you weren't dusted...

Can this get any f*cking worse. ALL HERMIED

Nope. Those are just single calyx. The nodes lots of times put out a single calyx like that. This is not a male flower or a seeded female. That was just the inside of the calyx there at the node. It's perfectly normal growth is what I was saying.

Can this get any f*cking worse. ALL HERMIED

They just pop up sometimes due to a wide variety of possibilities. It's distinct enough that you will immediately think... that's weird. I've only had it on a couple varieties, but every time, it was possible to just keep my eyes peeled and remove them. Never seeded much. Male flowers are really...

Can this get any f*cking worse. ALL HERMIED

That's not a hermie so far as I can tell. They don't produce seeds, they are male flowers and will put out pollen which would seed your bud within proximity. The don't look like a calyx, but have a distinct set of balls with banana like protrusions before opening up and releasing pollen. Just...

Can this get any f*cking worse. ALL HERMIED

Might be mistaken because I can't tell very well, but I assume you are referring to the calyx that pop out at the nodes? Those are fine if so. I can't see any hermie banana's in the pictures anyways, maybe if you remove one or two of the "ball-sac's" and picture them alone so I know what you are...

    Any Garlic Growers?

Mostly to sell the giant heads to seed garlic companies, culinary size and scapes for retail and cull size to a local kimchi producer. Then we (small family farm,) need enough to re-plant or likely, continue expanding next year, so we save the best for that purpose. We are also messing around...

    Any Garlic Growers?

Hello fellow garlic heads! I love the stuff. We started getting more into garlic the past couple years. This year we harvested about 30k heads of various hardnecks. Garlic-scape season was awesome and intense! Here is a picture from when we were about halfway through hanging up to dry: This...

First grow/harvest bud smells and taste of hay

Man... early into growing, I used to wet trim as much of the sugar leaves as I could, getting it as close to bag ready as possible before hanging it up or putting it on strings in a box etc. I figured it saved time and was gentler on the trichomes. But that was where I ran into these sort of...

    What fungicide/pesticide YOU should use!!!!

@athomegrowing I'm sure you're plants are fine, and you are doing what you can. I'm doing the same, but also not trying to shit all over what you're doing/trying. That's all. Peace though man, were all just here trying to learn and grow. Lets just be civil while we do it I hope. I e-mailed...

    Is my plant healthy?

Looks like PH lockout causing at the very least a nitrogen deficiency. Are you on tap or well water? What medium are you using? Bottled nutrients or slow release inside the soil? In any case, at the very least... Get a PH pen, of a packet of paper strips. A cheap pen for $15 is better off than...

A week later, checking to see if they are ready

Looks like early harvest window now. You could probably let them go 3 or so more days, but they could come down today and you'd be happy imo.

    What fungicide/pesticide YOU should use!!!!

Meh. I do as little as possible... I use predatory insects, companion planting, and preventative spray Neem, Spinosad and GH DefGuard throughout vegetation into early flower to prevent invasion from insects and help prevent mold spores from taking hold. My greenhouse is certified organic, and I...

    What fungicide/pesticide YOU should use!!!!

Easy to say inside. You can't stop spraying outside or in the greenhouse. You just have no control. You can only use 1 brand of 100% cold pressed neem? While I do that... what's the deal with using Neem? They say don't use spinosad. (Monterey garden insect spray) Why? I've been using it for...

    Calyxes slowly swelling, trichs clear

Yep... But not anymore, you don't wanna spray neem past early flower. Just a judgement call at this point. The bugs will have lived throughout the buds, eating and pooping. Some would say throw away, others would decide to just go for it, accepting the insects will be smoked/vaped whatever. It...

Small indoor for fun & personal use

Feel free to LST and adjust branches to provide maximum light coverage throughout the entire flower process. So long as you are gentle, and be aware of branches limits, you're good to go. As things get heavier, you might evenf end up putting a stake in and tying branches up to that so they don't...

Small indoor for fun & personal use

Heyo. I just skimmed through, but I assume you are using some soilless medium with a nutrient line of some kind? Either way, things look good in my opinion. You have the right idea to stick with just water and let things cool off a bit in there. If things get worse, put the plant in the bathtub...

Harvest either today or tomorrow - last minute help.

Depends on how you want to do it. If you want to hang them, keep branches of length's you can hang on a coat hanger, and hang that on a clothes line or similar stretched line. If you are using drying racks, probably want to just cut small branches that will fit into your racks most...
