i have my 400w hps 6-10" from the tops of my plant at the mo, with a good fan blowing on them, and thay are doing fine, but i try for 7",,

how hot is it in yor grow room with them hilogens on?? and a heat bulb on?? im amazed that its still alive and that you have not had a fire? halogen bulb are no good for growing plants, you need to get a mh or hps? but as you ant got much money? get sum cfl or a ft, but get rid of that halogen...

update, 9 days old, not growing fast at all, just put them under a 20w cfl tonight and will put them in a biger pot in a day or two,:-o
