Day 33 Flowering
[week 5 nutrients: 92ml sensi bloom A&B, 46ml Vitaboost Pro, 6 cups microbe tea pH: 5.6]
Microbe tea has been brewing for just about 48 hours. I drained my flowering res, filled with fresh water and nutes (a bit of a waste mid-week, but I have enough for at...
Really really great thread. I have some root problems right now in a DWC and am starting my first brew tonight. Unfortunately, I couldn't get any of the GH Ancient Forest or the ZHO powder... But I bought another beneficial bacteria pack with the trichoderma and bacillis, another bag of Organic...
Update:

Went to the store today; I got some root organics "oregonism XL" for bacillis bacteria and trichoderma fungi. Also got some Aquashield and some EWC. Following EWC tea recipe from Heisenberg. After a lot of forum research on rollitup as well as various other sites, the problems...

Gaaah.
Spoke too soon on the root issues. I'm pretty peeved at how difficult my first DWC has been; so much effin micromanagement. Brown, slimy slimy super gross res; I think algae and pythium, just disgusting. My only theory is that when I added hygrozyme mid-week in my last...

Day 24 Flowering
[week 4 nutrients: 94ml Sensi Bloom A&B, 46ml Vitaboost Pro, 30ml h202, 60ml Hygrozyme]
Sorry about the gap in posts, I've been super super busy this past week. Everything seems to be cleared up as far as root rot and res problems. I got some Hygrozyme to use...
Danks, gentlemen. I am now using hygrozyme along with my h202, and am pleased to report the results are definitely noticeable. Hygrozyme is compatible with h202 at "low ppm" whatever that means; I'm currently using 5 ml/gal 29% h202 and the hygrozyme is definitely still eating up dead matter and...
Definitely subscribed; looking good so far. I was wondering if you have any hydro experience w. hygrozyme? It says compatible with h202 in low ppm... I have no way to gauge if I'm making the hygrozyme useless with my h202.
Plant looks fine dude, don't tweak. I would water less and maybe lower ppm. Doesn't seem bad enough to warrant flushing the media.. but you could certainly do that (I wouldn't unless the burn is getting a LOT worse). She's barely starting to stress, so you shouldn't too hard.
Just read the part...
Thanks man, that's a good thought. Unfortunately my air pump is decent, and is definitely big enough to oxygenate a 6 gallon res. I just picked up some Hygrozyme, so we shall see how that works out. I dunno how I'm seeing this much trouble but I really don't think its a D.O. issue... Like I said...
Yo man I would definitely leave the seedlings under the dome for a couple days... I dunno what merricus was saying. Put the dome on the shelf and leave the vents closed. The inside of the dome should stay at a decent temp and around 80-85% rh. At this point I would basically try to be as...
Hello everyone..
So I'm running a BCNL Bloombox with 7 Barney's Pineapple chunk. I started week 3 flowering on Saturday. I had the very beginnings of some root rot a couple weeks back. I removed all the plants from my flowering res, gave them a fresh water and h202 bath, removed my flowering...
Yeah. I'm just boggled that anyone can run these without huge root rot problems. I've been at 5+ ml/gal 29% hyox since this was an issue a couple weeks back. I've also been keeping the res temps down (or trying). Saturday was my second time totally removing the res and bleaching everything out...
Yeah. I would have built a couple tables and bought some 1000w lamps but I live in an apartment. So this will be a decent investment for the next couple years.
Evil, lemme just say...
CONGRATS MAN! Vanilla Kush is fucking delicious. One of the most sought after strains now, and definitely in my top 5 smokes of ALL TIME...
I had the great pleasure of smoking a LOT of Vanilla Kush at Barney's in Amsterdam. Really delicious sweet flavor with a lot...

Day 15 Flowering -
[90ml Sensi Bloom A&B, 45ml Vitaboost Pro, 35ml H202, pH 5.6-5.7 ppm 1000]
Yet another fresh water/h202 bath and full res clean/change underway due to second pythium bloom this cycle. BCNL never called me back about my temp issues. I've done some more forum...
I too experience heat issues with a bloombox that BCNL reps, "have never heard before". My box runs around 13 degrees above ambient, 18 inches from a wall, with all the vent covers off and a ceiling fan running on high and an AC unit pointed directly at the intake/outtake.
