Jar held at 66% overnight. Left it open for 15 minutes before work. Here's a crappy iPhone update on the ladies. Purple has stopped. New foxtail covered the colored calyxes. The normals hairs are receded and red or orange. But the fox tails keep happening and throwing white. Still think...
How we looking? Still throwing white hairs. The rest have turned red or orange and receded I think? Chopping Friday or Saturday I believe. Unless I shouldn't lol
It was a little most but I've just been burping the jar. This morning it read 67 so I left it open for an hour and closed it up again. Probably needed one more day hanging. When I have more branches and diff sized buds hanging I think it'll be easier for me to judge the snap test. I just...
The single bud with stem attached took 4 days to dry. There was no fan. Just holes in the box. I might leave the small fan out of the grow tent when I dry in it since the cfm of my online fan is crazy powerful lol?
Im going to chop them Friday evening I think. They're looking old and wise. Almost all the hairs are dark orange or red. Trichs are 100% Milky and I see some ambers gathering on the top calyxes but not further down the bud yet. I'm thinking Friday will be the day. Also I didn't really get a...
Thanks man! Don't do it haha hide em!!. I have had the night temps around 66 trying to get color. The three buds directly in front of the fan just started throwing lavender calyxes, leaves are turning bright yellow. I'll try and get a pic tomorrow, hopefully more color! I think they still...
Pulled the second smallest bud on the little plant. For my bachelor party the 28th haha.
Dried perfectly in 3 1/2 days at a steady 70degrees 50% RH. Weighed out at close to 24 grams if I remember. Just placed in the jar. Humidity read 58%. Placed boveda pack in there too (62%). I'll let...
Ahhhh nice ok didnt think of that...i just put them both in an open tupperware together (resting on top of both pots - light right in the middle of the two) well see what they read in a bit! Thanks man
So I have checked the humidity on BOTH my normal temp/RH device that I use for the garden, as well as the new hydrometer I purchased off amazon (for curing in jars). I put both in a small tupperware with salt water in a bottle cap (Like all the youtube videos) and both came out to read 75%...
I'm watching the trichs closely. The foxtailing though is throwing me off. He buds hairs are almost all brown but the foxtail keeps throwing white hairs. Will they just keep doing that or eventually give up and all turn brown. You don't think I'll have 10% amber trichs by next Friday?
Green Crack.
Day 59 of Flower
Day 105 TOTAL!
Was thinking about letting them go until friday of next week and chopping, thoughts...maybe 1-3% amber on the buds, little more on the sugar leaves, foxtailing on all the buds now.
How's my advice, did I nail it?! :eyesmoke: Just lurking in the forums trying to help. Pretty bored over here. Not much happening with the ladies...
What makes it even better is I haven't even harvested yet hahaha
Hmmm I'll try and hang the thermometer tonight and check.
If it is it just makes me curious as to why none of the other normal size buds in the canopy fox tailed? That's what's got me scratching my noggin! And yeah probably (336 watt). But I would have had a tough time in a 2x2x4 tent with...
