First off, your plants look fine. Young plants often need time to adjust when exposed to higher intensity light. If You see signs of stress you can run the Timber for half your light cycle (with only the cfl running the rest of the time) and slowly increase the amount the Timber is on day by...
My led buds have been consistently smaller and denser than my hps buds with the same strain. Yields have been on par once I learned the nuances of led growing. If I was still growing in an outbuilding i think I'd probably be running hps because the IR put off by them mitigates some of the need...
I personally haven't seen anyone claim 300 watts of anything will replace a 1000w HPS since back in the heyday of blurple bullshit and if you see anyone saying that you have my complete support in calling out the B.S..
Here is my take. A bunch of shitty Chinese companies spent years making exaggerated claims about their crappy, inefficient blurple panels and pissed a lot of people off. It pissed off a lot of people who were suckered out of their money. I completely agree that it was a bunch of bullshit and...
Angry generalizations don't help anyone and you've demonstrated my entire point. They're just lights. Nobody is threatening your family, nobody is stealing your car or setting your house on fire. They are just lights. Chill out.
To HPS fanboys: There are a lot of people killing it with modern LED tech. You don't need to deny the reality of that and blow the cons out of all proportion to feel good about how you grow.
To LED fanboys: There are a lot of people killing it with HID. You don't need to trash the established...
Yup. Let's all throw insults around, talk passed each other, compare dissimilar scenarios and scream victory when results vary, and most importantly, pick a team and defend it to the death regardless of any and all facts to the contrary. Definitely don't have open and honest exchanges...
82 seems to be my sweet spot under my QB. I don't even need to do anything to keep it there... extraction fan at about %40 power and I get 80ish degrees and 40 to 45 rh consistently.
Pics in the previous post were from Friday night (3 weeks into flower exactly) and I'll be damned if she hasn't pack on even more frost in the last couple days.. I'm stoked to see what she has in store for me in the next 5 or 6 weeks.
Been a bit since I've had something to post on this thread.. :) This is more of a prediction of frost than a display of current frost. This is exactly 3 weeks into flower and already throwing a nice amount of trichomes. The strain is Orkle (Purple Urkle x Tahoe OG). I'm predicting good things...
I have vegged 2 plants from seed, topped twice, for ~month and completely filled a 4x4 with some LST. My 3x3 single plant scrogs I'd usually end up needing 5 to 6 weeks of veg. Never tried to fill my 4x4 with a single plant before. I see no real advantage to that when 2 will get you to the...
