Last summer I used a 400w hps uncooled in 36"x16"x66". Temps stayed in the high 80s to low 90s usually with the light on. I switched to cmh but that didn't help with the temps at all. Plants grew but they didn't turn out great and didn't get a very big yield. Ill try again this year when it gets...

IMO its pretty hard to get schwag if you take care of them indoors.

Leave it in a field with 100 other plants and dont take out any males. Dry it in the sun in a pile. Dont cure it.

The one guy said to keep uvb atleast 2 feet from your canopy. Does that mean since cmh bulbs have uvb you need to keep it 2 feet away?

Theyre old and big enough to flower now, and if you have space issues i dont see why you wouldnt. They could get around 3x as tall in flowering.

Some of the leafs under my cmh turn purple and i think its from the light.

i saw that pic. i also use a phillips 400w cmh and id burn my fingers if i touched it like that after it warms up its even warm after i let it sit and cool down for 10 minutes to switch bulbs
