(Relatively) Low humidity in jar: starting cure at 55-57%?

Thanks for the link. It is a good read. What I take from this is: 55% cure *CAN BE OK*.

(Relatively) Low humidity in jar: starting cure at 55-57%?

Hi all, Got some great advice here already on my first grow, ended up salvaging a bungled grow into a very short (under 11 inches!) but vigorous 8-weeker. She put out 2-oz. Green Crack Auto bud, dry! Yet, here where I am, humidity does not come easy. As you might imagine, I ended up overdrying...

Anyone used Nature's Living Soil and found rust-looking spotting?

I agree with others above, that it's about time we have more precise numbers, so that tests like this could be more useful. I understand that Build-A-Soil has its own proprietary screening it will do for $70, tailored specific to cannabis. But I'm cheap! Besides, this info should be more...

Anyone used Nature's Living Soil and found rust-looking spotting?

I think this is a very salient point. For the purposes of their analysis, I chose "vegetable garden". They had different options. Thus, we can guesstimate that we are roughly in the ballpark of cannabis, albeit with some uncertainty. I flushed and then added Build-A-Flower (.5", maybe?)...

Anyone used Nature's Living Soil and found rust-looking spotting?

Ok, so here are the results of a lab soil test. A whole battery of issues remain after the pH was corrected with garden-hose water (left out in the sun 48 hours). NOTE: the results above occurred one watering BEFORE I decided to flush my organic soil. I know this is a controversial subject...

Anyone used Nature's Living Soil and found rust-looking spotting?

Wow CC, brilliant advice. I'm humbled. I will check back after my next watering, lay off the foliar and let you know what's up! Thanks again a million.

In which case, or in addition to the above ^, Ca+ lockout could have occurred as a result of poor pH soil management..

Anyone used Nature's Living Soil and found rust-looking spotting?

Looks like you posted this while I was typing re: YLS. Thank you! Calcium, I had assumed, would be coming from the bone meals in the NLS amendment, but apparently that has depleted in short order. Probably because: excess moisture, overwatering, lower-than-label-instructed amount used in...

So no one else suspects Leaf Septoria? Paranoid because I've never dealt with a fungus before! Thanks all, again, for responses.

Yeah, it's diatomeceous earth. But good eye.

Anyone used Nature's Living Soil and found rust-looking spotting?

Wattzup: Interesting, yeah - I definitely think there was an excess of moisture for a minute, and that that may have meant I should have reduced watering frequency. That being said, I have not had to water to the point of having any runoff yet! I kept each watering fairly light. But I'm...

Anyone used Nature's Living Soil and found rust-looking spotting?

Here are some better shots that point to a few issues. Note: a) the issue pronouncedly affects older leaves (although in some of the closer shots, you can also see the very new growth getting brown and black tips) and b) the variable palette, tending towards a kind of copper color.

Anyone used Nature's Living Soil and found rust-looking spotting?

Thank you for this awesome response, CC! I really appreciate it. I think you are dead-on about the water pH. The more I learn about distilled water, the more ambivalent about it I become. Right now I have fifteen gallons of garden hose water sitting in the sun, de-chlorinating. Hopefully...

Anyone used Nature's Living Soil and found rust-looking spotting?

Hey everyone, I appreciate you taking on this question with my low post count. First time caller, longtime fan. I'm at Day 18 with my indoor White Widow Auto (Seed Stockers). Of the four strains I planted (this, Green crack auto, CBD lime dutch compassion, & Herbie's GG auto), this plant has...
