going from a 600 hps to a 150 led has got to be a pretty drastic drop off in light.... even if u got that LED inches from the canopy... LEDs are more efficient yes,,, but not 4x more efficnt... assuming the spectrums are equil i think u will see more stetchinug from this grow as the plants...

ya its quite difficult in the hydro... im trying to make the mixes w half the nitrogen and supply the other half of the nitrogen via nitric acid w a ph controller... even w the passive uptake in calcium its hard to get the amount of calcium u need into the mix without adding too much nitrogen...

cool..im not sure to be honest...its hard for me to work within that forula without taking distance from canopy into account. its is by far the biggest weighting factor in the PPFD equation. when it comes to lighting i think placment of photons is much mroe important than efficnecy of the...
