If you look at fabric planters now, they are only about 12-15 deep. I’ve seen commercial operations running them with around 10” of soil. Easy to keep hydrated at that depth

Regarding the fabric pots for living soils... IME, they work well enough but require a bit of a learning curve. When I first started with them I was drastically under watering everything. By the end of the run the bottom half of the pots had gone completely hydrophobic and was repelling water...

I still use teas from time to time. I also topdress with compost when I amend after a run. I mainly brew a tea up specifically to hit a new or lacking soil with a massive amount of biology.

Yup, I’m pretty sold on these too. I was referring to the UL listed sticker that comes on all commercial fixtures showing that it’s been tested and certified. I spoke with a rep today who told me that they are not currently certified but will be later this year. He stated that anything purchased...

Thanks for the reply, I’m thinking of trying these out over a bed in a room with other beds that have HID lights in them. I’m worried that I may run into issues with the different temps that I see recommended for LED vs HID. Will the LED s be pointless in this set up I keep the overall temps in...

Those look great! Do they have a UL or ETL listing sticker anywhere on them? I can’t find any info on that...

Any update on this? I’m looking hard at that Optic LED 650s as well, but I can’t see anywhere that it is UL or ETL listed. That’s a must for my commercial operations!

I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them. Ok, they did screw up a recent order, but made good on it in the end. I know they have been having staffing issues due to Covid.
