I have the pan lined with mylar, do you think Ill still have hot spots? I was thinking the pan would make it easier to maneuver. Yes, im adding a little 12v computer fan before I start the grow, also trying to find a mini osculating fan for additional air flow. Thanks for the input guys...

I might consider a different soil type, any suggestions for a better soil? 6x 26watt cfls 1700 lumens and will be adding 2x 40 watters

Try a computer fan on the side of your box for exhaust, should work good to reduce the heat level.There pretty cheap, sometimes free if you have an old PC layin around some where, and very easy to wire up, pretty quiet as well if your tryin to keep it stealthy. How far away are your lights from...

Hey all, thanks for stopping by. This will be my first Sterilite box grow, using 6 x 26w Soft white CFLs on the top, and 2 x 40w Cool white CFLs on both sides. The set up is a cheap, but efficient one costing about $50-$55. For soil, Ill be using Miracle-Gro Potting mix with time released...

Fem seeds are defiantly more convenient, BUT if you purchase regulars seed, you could create many seeds of that strain and never have too buy that strain again. You could possibly ever learn to feminize seeds yourself, and save more money. This idea may be flawed but Im just throwing it out there.
