i would recommend drying for 10 - 15 days (hanging) than jar it up and continue drying it the way burping the jars every day when moisture is built up inside
depends when you planted it, the yeild of the plant, how much sunlight the it gets, how the weather has been and will be, and your trichomes
everyone experiences different growing times, and different areas effect the growth of the plant to
trimming the leaves before is a lot easier as obijohn has said but the trimming is really up to you. i prefer to trim before i start to hang dry them.
trimming before also helps with the drying process to its more of a even dry to the buds than it would of been to dry with all the leaves still...
the room ill be drying in is roughly 6'x15' and the room next to it was an old kitchen thats is roughly about 20 - 25. i would like to try and keep the smell contained to at least 1 room of the house if possible
what if i took the door off and put poly where the door was and one fan blowing in the room and another fan blowing out of the room like 2 12 inch fans
i recently put up a 110V electric fence around my plants to protect them against the animals. i have it a 4 ft radius around my plant and my other plants i was able to move since they werent planted in the ground. as goes for the bugs i have yet to see any on my plants which was really nice
i have a old cellar in my basement which ill be hanging my plants to dry. should i have a fan in the room for the air movement? the whole cellar room is concrete all the way around so there isnt any air flow in there
im hoping to have a better crop next year. hopefully i can get more clones from my buddy a couple months earlier than i did this year. i would like to get much bigger plants for next year
i wish i got my clones earlier than i wouldnt have this much problem right now with the weather changing weather is now going to be 0 - 2c at night for a a week or 2 than dropping below 0c
