    i dont know what a cool tube is... just 1 plant... can i just use a 2 fan system..? (air in exhaust out?) also. if one of my leaves has started to die but there are 4 or 5 good sized others.. is it alright to clip them? or should i just leave it? can i clip dead limbs or leaves?

    thanks everyone... i will grab some perlite and organic mix today along with another fan. i have a new light on the way. and im going to remove one of the plants and put it in a different pot for the time being.. or just put it outside somewhere and see if it gets big before the fall cold...

    seems as though it was under-watered. i transfered my plants to the larger pot 2 days before i found them wiltered. i thought the soil was properly watered/saturated...whatever but it apparently wasnt. i gave it a real good watering before this post and since then its made a really good...

    desertrat- wheres a cheap and easy place to find perlite? igrowchronic- no i dont.. no fan or such. but the box is open for 12 hours a day and gets fresh air.. should i have good ventillation 24 hours a day?

    My first grow ever. I didnt take it to the max.... is what i mean I have two plants in a 4 gallon pot (12in wide, 15in deep). I have them planted in miracle grow..(for now) I have a 24" florecent plant tube light. I also have a 26watt CFL mounted right next to it Its all inside a 32" tv box...

    i have 2 florecents on it right now both within 6 inches... one is a tube the other is a conventional screw in.. should i move them further away? do you think they got dried out yesterday when i didnt water them? i did change the topsoil too so there may be a chance they got dried out down...
