I've seen people trying to use Blackstar LEDs to replace HPS, and it just doesn't work. I've used not only the exact LED you're talking about, but many others as well. I was only agreeing with you. Maybe someone needs a time out do they? There was no reason to lash out on me.

You do realize that the Blackstar 500w has an actual wattage draw of 270w, right? False marketing on the part of Blackstar. There is no way a Blackstar 500 can even match part of a 600 watt HPS. You'd need 2-3 of those to replace one 600w HPS. Good luck selling that light. I don't want it.
