Three weeks into my canna coco scrog and my mind is blown. Never in my last 20 years of growing have I saw results like this. Pic one is day one of veg Feb 14th, and second pic is day six into flower March 8th.

Here are a couple side by side pics of day one on Feb 14th the first day of veg, and today march 8th the sixth day of flowering. I can't believe it's less then a month getting to this point. If this keeps up, I'll be able to grow an extra round every year!

It looks like the are coming around! Unfortunately most ballasts on the market have a high amount of electromagnetic interference. This is what causes the banding in the pics. The only ballasts I've found that don't do this are the solistek matrix serries.

If you are using bag coco from canna, it is ready to grow. Plant your plant, and water according to their feed chart. If you use canna blocks, you have to expand them with plain water, transplant, and water with normal nutrient water.

Oh yeah, I forgot. Canna recommends watering when the pots lose 50% of the water fed. They got a lot of great info on their site.

My thoughts are, you have top to bottom drainage with smart pots so no need for anything. Cannas site even tells you 100% coco no adatives. I recall reading on here somewhere about people having problems with the clay pellets and smart pots. Might have been icmag though. I just started growing...
