No its divided by because its amount of air vented (whole volume) every 3-5 minutes so if you multiply you would vent all the air 3-5 times per minute instead of the required 3-5 minutes to ventilate the whole space

To maintain negative air pressure for smell id skip on any intake fans unless its just a small pc fan or osc fan near the intake blowing toward the outtake. Just make sure you get the cfm right volume/(3-5) and add about 50% for the filter and HID heat

I've heard to top after the 3rd/4th node, I'd imagine moss isn't good, perhaps you're not letting them dry out before watering? Id just scoop out the green and let it fully dry out, and just scrog during flower and lst n top for now
