    that sound.s like Kauai. but the south and west sides of the Hawaiian islands looks like here...semi arid. Same trees, cactus, rock and sand and red clay...until you run into the ocean. Closest seawater is the Seas of Cortez from here.

    Your plants will behave as if they are in 12/12 whenever you plant. I lived on Kauai for 8yrs. Plant whenever the temps/weather is "good"...Most will be done in 120days [or so] from seed.

    Yep...outdoors .too cheap to do an indoor... got 40 yrs in doing it My plants suffer frost and snow and heat and months of zero rain...They manage on tap water.... I run totally organic. no neem, no molasses...nothing.

    My experience with heat and intense sun--- they will be fine,but you will have to keep on top of watering. I have heard of folks using shade cloth, too. I don't and we get 100`F regularly. 20 inches of annual precip. If the heat is too much...you might try planting after the summer...

    no real gain in running autos if you are in equatorial region. 12/12 all year photos will take 100-120days from seed. Some tropical sativas will take longer....MalawiGold and Dr.Grinspoon come to mind

    If you plant after the summer solstice, the plants will do a natural 12/12. Harvest in 100days or so from seed, may go 120+ depending on strain. Tropical/equatorial sativas will take longer Depending on the strain...you could get grams to a couple of oz. Some strains do not like 12/12 growing...
