    Ventilation VS Air Cooled Lights?

so do you think I should just go ahead and use the second fan for the cabinet itself?? I mean I do have 2 fans, I just figured if it could cut down on noise and the electric bill I would do it that way since my cabinet is still a work in progress, it is mostly built and I have the parts but I...

    Ventilation VS Air Cooled Lights?

hmm, I ordered a bake a round to do a DIY cooltube for my 400w HPS, I also have 2 fans, a Hydrofarm that I am using for the light when I get all the stuff to complete the cooltube and also a smaller Dayton fan I was going to install in my cabinet as a seperate exhaust for the plant, from what I...

The fan inside my grow box raises the temp by 5 degrees

you want the fan on the exhaust, move the fan higher up by the light where the bulk of the hot air actually is, you want the intake more towards the bottom letting the cooler air in

I already purchased the mylar, timers, and a little cheap ice probe chiller, I know the chiller sucks, but I won't have a very big reservoir(external). I will...

I've actually got some fluorescents on a plant I have right now growing in soil but it is just sitting in the garage and I live in a duplex with neighbors who use their garage daily(our garages are connected) so I decided to make something I can bring upstairs, I guess I got too ahead of myself...

My attempt at a setup (pics)

well it seems Aero-Hydroponics setups are pretty easy, it seems I can do a DIY aero setup pretty easily. I'm sure I will make mistakes in the beginning but I'm in no hurry, I need to learn sometime right? What do you all think?? I've been researching for a while and it just seems that would be...

My attempt at a setup (pics)

hey all, just wanted to post what I am working on. I have a 400w hps light for it, next step is setting up the ventilation but I am clueless on what to use. I have 2 fans, one is a Hydrofarm brand, 1/25 hp 1,550 rpm, the other is smaller in size, it's also 1/25hp but 3,160 rpm(Dayton brand)...
