Yellow/brown spots, 3 weeks of flowering (yes, another one of these!)

I see. Sorry. I didn't know there was some kind of conversion factor involved.. and I'd never heardanything of it before. You would think they would label that clearly..

Pretty sure my meter isnt @.5 man. Instructions read 0-999 it reads like normal and if its 1000-9999 there will be a x10 symbol flashing.

Yellow/brown spots, 3 weeks of flowering (yes, another one of these!)

Interesting bit of info about the ppm meter. How can you tell it is being converted @.5? The girls are all sleeping right now. at 1am EST the lights flip on. I'll thoroughly inspect and take pictures of her then. From what I can remember, I don't notice residue per say but the water run-off is...

I've never tested run-off pH, if I want to do that how much run-off should I get before it is considered adequate for testing? Also, what reading should I be hoping for? I like the 1/4veg 3/4flower nute idea. I have a soil pH tester, it seems to be working. Reading is usually 6.8 or so...

Only on the dying leaves towards the bottom, which I find 1 or two of laying in the soil every day. Aside from that and the brown/orangish "freckles" on a lot of the biggest leaves, no other issues really.

Yellow/brown spots, 3 weeks of flowering (yes, another one of these!)

right, correct, sorry. I should note it says to always add Boost first. I do that. It also says the PPM of the solution should be 1430, but when I test it usually is around 900-1100. I always figured since it was less it was okay because I feel like I'm erring on the side of caution.

I will try to calculate all that stuff for you.

Yellow/brown spots, 3 weeks of flowering (yes, another one of these!)

The plant is huge, there is something like 5 tops on her. The budding looks great. This is my first grow, I think I've done pretty good to get to this point. I don't want to fuck up now, though. It's hard to determine what to do because on one hand I read all these things about too many nutes...

Yellow/brown spots, 3 weeks of flowering (yes, another one of these!)

So you think it is a lack of nutes? And if I'm using these technaflora products, which do I add for nitrogen? Brb.. research time.. As for what I did wrong, I'm not sure yet :(
  12. headiessmoka

Yellow/brown spots, 3 weeks of flowering (yes, another one of these!)

Been using Technaflora recipe for success starter kit. It was like 40 bucks on amazon and had good reviews. I started out very light (when it was 2 weeks old it had its first feeding), only 1/4 recommended dosage first feeding, slowly working to 1/2 then 3/4 then finally 1/1. Switched to the...

Yellow/brown spots, 3 weeks of flowering (yes, another one of these!)

More pics, taken 2 days ago. Like I was mentioning earlier, had this yellowing/dying leave issue near the soil. That is why I took these pics. The orange/brown freckles I just noticed last night.

Yellow/brown spots, 3 weeks of flowering (yes, another one of these!)

So, to recap: 2 days ago I watered heavily (semi-flush?) with 2.5 gallons of distilled. Had a significant run-off, but I'm reading to effectively flush you need to pour in up to double the amount of water (in gallons) as there is soil. Did this because had another issue with dying/yellowing...
  15. headiessmoka

Yellow/brown spots, 3 weeks of flowering (yes, another one of these!)

yeah man. Looked everywhere. Like I said, another girl next to this one and she isn't having issues. I will check again for bugs when lights flip on, though.
  16. headiessmoka

Yellow/brown spots, 3 weeks of flowering (yes, another one of these!)

Possibility: cal/mag lockout. There is some dolomite lime in the soil and I've been using a bit of calmag in the feedings as well. Too much calmag causing lockout? Flush?
  17. headiessmoka

Yellow/brown spots, 3 weeks of flowering (yes, another one of these!)

I did a lot of inspecting, no bugs spotted. I have another girl RIGHT next to this one, and she has none of these symptoms so I can only assume it isn't bugs. From all the research and digging I've done it seems like it could be some kind of nutrient lockout. Am I far off with this assumption...

Yellow/brown spots, 3 weeks of flowering (yes, another one of these!)

Yeah, so, upon closer inspection, these spots seem to be everywhere. Not very noticeable on the bud leaves, but the fan leaves seem to have tiny spots on most of them. None looking terribly bad, but I don't know if this is a nute thing or (gulp) bugs.
  19. headiessmoka

Yellow/brown spots, 3 weeks of flowering (yes, another one of these!)

Noticed these on some of the large fan leaves sitting in the middle of the canopy. Haven't noticed it anywhere else. Have had other yellowing/leave dying issues earlier in this grow (well documented in my post history/journal entries..). Anyone know what this could be now? Hope it ain't bugs...
