    Jorge Cervantes Grow Bible Download

Movies make their profits in the millions at the box office (Theaters). Musicians make money touring and make millions as well. Software and OS's I actually WOULD buy if they were reasonably priced. If windows was $50 I'd buy it every year, and i bet everyone else would too! But not for $200...

    Jorge Cervantes Grow Bible Download

Actually, depending on where you live, it's NOT stealing. In Canada and many other countries, people are allowed to download almost anything. Produce copies and selling them for profit is illegal, of course. But downloading is not considered stealing, it's considered SHARING. You know? that...

DIY HPS Light Reflector Hood.. Expertise Needed!

Excellent post! Thank you very much Mr.Hollywood for taking the time to provide some quality advice. I have been thinking this whole reflector thing over and i think i'm going to just use a bit of duct tube, add a fan in the end, put the ballast in a round circuit box on the end of the unit...

How close can you keep HPS/MH bulbs to your plants?

I have a simillar question, but i want to have an MH and an HPS in one cabinet together to get the benefit of both red and blue spectrums throughout the grow, as i've been told this makes some really potent chronic.. SO I got a 150w HPS bulb and a 175w MH bulb. What I need to know now, is how...

    Electrical Assistance Needed!

lol I actually FOUND a 400 watt HPS bulb I had in my basement from years ago... But yeah, in that small of a space you're right, i'd be afraid it would burn my plants.. I'll stick to a 150watt.. Should I also stick a 150w MH bulb in there too? I have heard a combination of the two are good...

    Electrical Assistance Needed!

Cool.. That was kind of what i was already thinking of doing.. thanks for the suggestion :) .. tho i'm looking at a hydroponics site and they list a 150w sunsystem lamp fixture for $60.. and then there's a 400w fixture for $130.. should i go for the 400w fixture and buy a 400w light? or should i...

THANKS! Finally someone answers.. I see your point about the HPS lights now.. But do HPS have the proper light spectrum. Their lumens output are great, but if it's 4500 Kelvin, all the lumens in the world won't mean shit cuz it's not the right spectrum of light.. Know what i mean?... I'll look...

    Electrical Assistance Needed!

Yes but i don't have room for huge lights, and HIDs take a lot of power, and produce a lot of heat. My cabinet is only 30 inches wide, 24 inches deep, and about 38 inches high.. So i don't have a lot of room to work with.. Heres some pics: AND I am still hoping to receive answers to the...

    Electrical Assistance Needed!

Ok, to answer the above questions, I'm in the US. I have eight 23 watt 2700k bulbs and eight 26 watt 6500k CFL bulbs. The reason i have decided to use these instead of HPS is because they use lower energy, produce less heat, and have no risk of exploding (my cabinet is made of wood), not to...

    Electrical Assistance Needed!

I am rigging up a grow cabinet and i have decided on a plan for hanging my lights. I will be using CFLs. Here's a diagram to help visualize my idea. I am going to rig up a cover to reflect upward light back down, and the whole unit will be suspended with small chains so i can simply raise the...

    CFLs vs. Fluorescent setup?

lol!.. yeah i was just thinking the same about mine.. another 5 inches in height and it would be perfect.. i'll just have to prune hard and keep my plants short and bushy i guess :P Just realized it's missing the back tho, which isn't so bad, rather than having to cut holes thru it i can now...

    CFLs vs. Fluorescent setup?

no worries :P I can't really tell what i'm looking at in those diagrams tho.. I did however, find a cabinet.. I had an OLD TV cabinet, all wood, pretty big.. i'm gonna gut it and use it for my box. I'll post some pics in the next few days once i've gutted it. Still gotta clean a path to it...

    CFLs vs. Fluorescent setup?

Well I found some 100w (23w) 2700k bulbs, they ouptut 1600 lumens. And i found some 100w (26W) 6500k bulbs which also output 1600 lumens. I bought 4 of each. I just put my plants into 12/12 lighting, so should i use 2 of the 2700k and 4 of the 6500 k?.. or no 2700k at all?.. or what?.. :P

    CFLs vs. Fluorescent setup?

Awesome. Thanks for the info. Very helpful indeed :) I just switched over to a 12/12 lighting cycle a few days ago. I think with my fans at the top of the box, they should keep the heat low enough to prevent a fire.. But i'll take your advice and try to find a cabinet.. I've been hoping to...
