    1st CFL Closet grow (PICS)

1-2 tbsp of 3% H202 per gallon of water. Another thing you can do is fill jugs of water and put them in your freezer and place them around your plants if you have room.

1st Tub CFL Grow w/ bagseed

Well I just checked the trichomes on both plants and they are still clear for the most part. So I am most likely looking at a harvest in probably 2-3 weeks. There is new pistil growth which is a great sign because growth had slowed considerably in my 12" pots.:bigjoint:

1st Tub CFL Grow w/ bagseed

Jballs my set up is 84in x 48in x 24in in the bathtub. The smell is becoming ferocious in the bathroom..... It's almost sickening. How long do you guys think I have to go until harvest? Do my buds still look premature?

Total days 120 - Flowering 48 days (7 weeks) Both plants have lost a lot of leaves and were yellowing after I transplanted. Plants were water 1 1/2 gallons of water each. They are in 15" diameter buckets now. I hope I can at least keep them alive until harvest. Plant #1: Height it is...

Transplanting 58 day old plant, with N def.

Some people lose fan leaves during flowering it's natural and some don't. Unless you see yellowing all over your plants I wouldn't be too concerned. What day of flowering are you on? What is the (N-P-K) of the nutes you were using before your transplanted? The plants will typically be in shock...

    Flowering: Blue vs Red

No, you will not get dense buds with just blue light. If you are going to use CFLs for flowering at least get a 3000k light which is closer to red spectrum(daylight). 40 Acres uses a metal halide bulb which is a high intensity discharge light. It's expensive and puts out more heat then CFLs.

You're lucky... I lost all my fan leaves on my plant. Yours is definitely not as yellow as mine. Good luck to ya!

Transplanting 58 day old plant, with N def.

Do not add nitrogen or any other nutrients after you transplant. You will shock and kill your plants. Wait a week before you add any nutes. However, I would recommend something like root 66 for when you transplant. You most likely do not have a nitrogen deficiency. It is most likely root bound...

    CFLs actually emit UV rays

Just thought I would give everyone a heads up if you were curious. Manufacturers state CFLs do emit UV rays. The levels stated were 50 - 140 microwatts per lumen. This is compared to the amount from regular light bulbs that emit 100 microwatts per lumen. Both of these are much lower than outdoor...

1st Tub CFL Grow w/ bagseed

When should I start checking trichomes? Should I cut little leaves off to check because my microscope needs to be on a flat surface to see anything? I will most likely do a journal update on friday/saturday when I water again.

Newbie first grow 4 1/2 wks

Well, if that's the best you can get I guess it should be fine. I don't recommend it personally as it can make your bud harsh tasting as it is a synthetic fertilizer. Make sure you give her a good flush before harvest.

1st Tub CFL Grow w/ bagseed

So before when I was using a 3 gallon pot I was watering with 1 gallon of water plus nutrients. Would you suggest 2 gallons of water for a 5 gallon pot? Also, if you are going to double the amount of water would you want to double the amount of nutrients recommended as well? It gets warm in in...

1st Tub CFL Grow w/ bagseed

After I pulled out the root ball there were roots all over the bottom. Good thing is that they looked healthy (no signs of root rot). There was little space for them to grow in 3 gallon buckets so I think they will do better in their new homes ;-)
