Maybe they are restocking? Our Canadian site was down and up for a while. I got lucky and snuck some day before it closed for a week. AFN they said they were swiching hosts again the new server didnt live up to expectations.

Nothing wrong with samples. Its always good to do comparisons to see if they work in your setup. If i walked by 40 laying on the ground i would pick it up ;)
