Hi, been studying up on LED strips. Curious if this idea has any merit. 2 foot Samsung f series strips run about 23 to 24 volts. If I modded a computer power supply to output 24V DC @ 5 amps, I would then get 5 strips. Hook 'em up in parallel. 1 amp 24v to each strip. I figure around 120 watts...

I grow in 50/50 perlite/coco. I'm going to give my seeds 1/8 dose nutes, ph'd at first plant. I certainly assume soil would be different. I hope these opinions don't put my mothers virtue in question.

Mistakes are the best teacher. Just keep growin'. And if those are roots, you'll know real soon. My greatest short coming is cloning. I've had success, but I'm below the Mendoza line (less than 20%). I'm working on it. Best of luck.
