Just a little poll, about compost teas. Do you use them as an organic grower?

That is a great idea. I will definitely be using a coffee grinder before hydrating from now on.

Just a little poll, about compost teas. Do you use them as an organic grower?

I think he's referring to coot's method of diy kelp tea. Where he soaks kelp meal and purees it into a paste and stores it in his fridge. He uses it as an instant kelp tea. I've tried this and the kelp doesn't mix with the water too well and stays solid if you don't puree it good enough. I...

    Cannarado genetics

I've heard that multiple times before and wondered why that is. What is it about indoors that causes the hermie trait to come out? Could it be the unnatural light cycle or environment conditions? You'd think with an indoor environment the plant is less likely to stress.

    Cannarado genetics

I ran 4 birthday cake x headbanger alongside other strains and didn't have any problems and they seemed pretty consistent in quality. Which birthday cake strain did you run? This was outdoors if that matters.

Just a little poll, about compost teas. Do you use them as an organic grower?

If microbial products are effective in promoting soil life, nutrient uptake and disease prevention, then wouldn't compost teas also be helpful in the same way? I never did this myself, but you can actually examine your compost teas through a microscope and learn to identify what species you're...

amount of soil for 3 month veg

Oh Oh you meant that they flower later. I don't know why I didn't realize that. I was imagining them flowering at the same time for some reason. This happens because of photoperiod sensitivity differences in strains. I'm not an expert either but I know a little bit. Sativas originate from...

amount of soil for 3 month veg

You got a forest in the background blocking your sun. I already get annoyed of my neighbors 15 foot fruit trees lol. That's good news though. I think I'll be fine with my pot size and hours of sunlight. I too only get around 8 hours of direct sunlight in my spot.

amount of soil for 3 month veg

Wouldn't 4 one pound plants overcrowd each other in 200 gallons? How wide should I be expecting a 1lb plant to be? Also, why so much extra time for sativas? Most sativas I seen are labeled as only 2-3 weeks longer flowering time.

amount of soil for 3 month veg

This question is for people who have grown those big yielding outdoor plants. What amount of soil per plant should I be using for a 3 month veg? I was considering 100-130 gallons but am I missing out on a lot of potential growth by not going bigger? Obviously the biggest size you can go is the...

how to deal with fluoride in water

Is there a way to deal with fluoride other than ro filters? Some might say it doesn't matter, but I feel like it does when you want the soil/microbe life to be as healthy possible for the plants to better uptake the nutrients from the your amendments. In my area too, the tap water seems to have...

Easier way to mix lots of soil

The cement mixers I seen are all 2-400 and will do around 3 cubic feet at once. I never actually seen a cement mixer being used. How fast do they mix 3 cf batches and would it mix thouroughly?

Easier way to mix lots of soil

Does anyone have advice on how to mix large amounts of soil? The obvious answer would be a shovel and rake and tarp but what if it is an excessive amount of soil? That seems like a lot of hours of labor for just one person. Has anyone tried a cement mixer or a soil mixer? I was also wondering...

    PPM with Organics?

I would never add anything to finished compost tea because any little addition could change the microbe populations massively. Better to water in whatever you wanted to separately. In my opinion, as long the ppm isn't too low (ro water), there shouldn't be a need to adjust it.

    carbonaceous shale

Anyone know where to buy carbonaceous shale? I plan to use it in a soil mix in place of calcium bentonite and was planning on buying it from rockdustlocal.com but they seem to be out of stock until march and I'd like it sooner. This is what i wanted...

    Green line organics seed bank

I've never ordered from glo but doesn't anyone find it suspicious that his seeds are so much cheaper compared to all the other seedbanks? It makes me wonder if he swaps out seeds or something. If he was a little cheaper that's one thing, but his deals are just way too good and it stops me from...
