Alaska, Oregon and D.C. legalized rec cannabis

Hey, I'm complaining, but I'll definitely be making that drive to check out the scene. Very hipocritical I know, but how could you not. It's still historical either way. It's less than two hours from me :)

Yea, but you have to veg those monsters for a long time. And your still 'secretly' breaking the law, so at one point you'll have more than 12 :) Obviously, I wouldn't adhere to that law anyway, just saying.

That is one of the first thoughts that crosses my mind.

    Lung room?

if the window is cracked, just put the fan somewhere in the room - it will pull the air into the room, then into the fan. Disguise the windwo how you would like. Sometimes I have to put something behind a curtain, like a broom handle or back of a chair - to keep it from obviously blowing...

Is there a better way to heat my grow shed?

I second this idea, but there is a risk of buring your shed down...or possibly exploding. I guess that risk is there with any heater. I have a similar style heater in my basement we only use when we're down there, and it runs on our natural gas - my house hasn't blown up yet.

Alaska, Oregon and D.C. legalized rec cannabis

I'm so on the fence about any of this. 12 plants? That's barely ANYTHING! What if you have clones, veg, and flower? That's barely enough to get me to my next harvest....6 plants vegging for less than two months because you can't keep mothers or take a bunch of clones earlier, you have to...

Alaska, Oregon and D.C. legalized rec cannabis

Until you can grow as much as you want on your own property, I'm against it. Seriously, you have to lock it up from children? WTF. There are plants in my backyard that are DEADLY if a kid ate some. This is why regulation worries me... Can you imagine getting your child taken away because...

Alaska, Oregon and D.C. legalized rec cannabis

Yea, legal for rich people and the state to make money off of... I do not know how I feel about legaliztion anymore - especially on the east coast, where it's all about $/politics and nothing else. Unless the individual is allowed to grow as much as they want in or on their property, it's not...

    Best 'stand alone' bloom boosters

This is all totally true, however adding too much dry kool bloom or shooting powder will make it exponentially worse, and it happens unnaturally quickly. I will still get some foxtailing on certain strains no matter what, especially if it gets a little too hot in the summer, but nothing like...

    Spider mites from hell

YES^ it is always wise to rotate the products you use so mites don't build an immunity.

    Spider mites from hell

^this is ALL great advice as well. Just always be sure to KEEP treating and be diligent. They absolutely LOVE it when it's HOT AND DRY, so make it cooler and raise your RH, and it will slow them from repoducing so fast

    Spider mites from hell

You also need to be super diligent when treating... Usually when I've gotten a bad infestation in the past the first thing I do is take each plant outside or in my garage and remove almost all their foliage(for sensitive plants, don't remove more than 1/3 of them at a time), focusing on the...

    Is selling really that profitable?

They can be had for less than 3, but in my experience anything that is above average usually can't. And 1/8ths are usually 60 no matter what - it's actually gotten kinda pathetic, if it's not mids, or 'reggie' as the kids call it these days, it's 60. Drives me nuts when I run out before...

    Is selling really that profitable?

This is actually exactly what I do as well, I sell for slightly under market value and I have some returning vets and medical 'friends' I hook up - mind you I'm not in a legal state - but I share a similar attitude. I have a couple close friends that ALWAYS get an O for free after harvest. One...

    Is selling really that profitable?

Dude, those are prices in philly. I didn't make them, and they've been that way since I was a freshman in highschool, they have only recenty dropped. And BTW, 400/zip isn't all too expensive when you consider it's ILLEGAL and just 5 plants will put you in jail for close to a year in PA - 10...

    Is selling really that profitable?

I 100% AGREE WITH ALL OF THIS^^^ Just pointing out the possibility for a greedy small time grower. 99% of the broke people in my area can't afford more than a gram or 1/8 at a time, lol.

    how much longer?

A scope is your best friend when you grow AND smoke. I feel like a total snob when I whip it out to check someone elses bud they bought or grew. Most of the time I find that 'work weed' is choped way too early, and sometimes I check some FIRE someone has and it's like 50% amber! There is alot...

    how much longer?

Looking at the trichs is the only way to really tell, but I bet you wouldn't be dissapointed if you chopped now. I would chop some now, then chop the rest later, and compare the end finished products. A lot of people warn against too much amber, but I like at least 25%. THC doesn't degrade...
