do you have any pics ? Sounds likt that need some lst or topping.. None of my plants reach over my chest and im under 6ft , i have seen some 6ft monsters though but tied plant was tied up all over the place cause of the side branches. Have a look at LST see if it helps you out ,i always do it now..

Herbal.. i soak mine for 24/48hrs in a little warm water in a cup then put it in my cupboard ,its not dark but it aint bright either by then most of them are out. I soaked some on window sill an they were fine. Sometimes you get bad seeds or they have been stored wrong..
