Oh yes, one other thing. I would like my room to be self-sufficient for days at a time. I won't be able to manage a flame-based heater.

So my grow-room is perfect right under my 400w MH 24/7 during veg, with a steady 76F reading. However, I know once I start flowering and have to have a dark cycle, the temp will plummet to the ambient basement temperature, ~50F. Will a heating pad (or two), like the ones they sell at...

Yeah, I was looking into that...Is there a fan control switch that could power a 3-prong outlet? I am not seeing much in the way of ways to "dim" something if it's plugged into a normal switch...perhaps you can point me in the right direction? TYIA

Did you guys ever work something out? I also am looking to deal with this problem... I think I'm going to wrap the ducting with egg-crate foam. Other than that, maybe I'll make a soundproof box for the fan itself.

Numb, The two biggest seedlings have just pushed out of the soil with the beginnings of their first leaves. I'll keep ya posted on how the rest do when I see them.

Hey all, just got home and it looks like the seedlings are gonna make it! The 3 largest sprouts look re-energized for the most part. But, the very tips are still shriveled. I'm going to plant them now, so I guess the only way to tell if this shriveling grows or shrinks will be to see if...

Thanks, that sounds like a good idea. For now, though, I'll have to wait and see if these seeds make it. Otherwise, I'll have to wait a month for new seeds to arrive.
