Five weeks old today. Still keeping roots above water level, so feeding and watering are from what bubbles up in the pail. Let's call it fizz feeding :cool:

One week after my last picture the plant appears to have recovered. I kept the started basket and the roots above the water/nutrient level. Changed the water and nutrients last weekend. Keeping H2O2 at around 50ppm.

KIND LED X220 (220 W max) set at 75% ~12 inches above canopy. PAR reading ~800 micro mol/square meter / second. General Hydroponics BOOST 60ml per 5 gallon, GROW 30ml per 5 gallon at water change. RO water Ca/Mg re-mineralized. H2O2 currently ~50ppm

pH=5.8-6.1, TDS=900~700, water=69F., RH=65%,, chamber=76-81F.

I've had ups and downs with this grow. Mainly leaves drooping then coming back ... today a new first..the newer leaves look burnt on tips. All numbers are good pH, TDS, temp, RH%, etc. Plants roots partially in the water yesterday... above the water level today.

A note on the bag thing... If outdoors, sun hitting the bag can roast the roots and hurt/kill the plant. I bury all my outdoor plant bags in order to keep the roots dark and cool... they like to be that way as they have evolved to thrive in those conditions. Maybe a bag in a grow chamber could...

I believe that photosynthesis is taking place in every leaf of the plant that is green... upper, middle, lower, etc

One note to what 7CardBud said. Due to the importance of Ca/Mg to both plants and humans, some RO equipment add back (remineralize) calcium and magnesium (My HydroGardener Pro Advanced Remineralizing Reverse Osmosis system adds back 15-30ppm of calcium and magnesium).
