I'm not sure I know what that is. I can tell you that when I water, the water kind of floats on the surface for a bit before it absorbs down into the pot.

I am beginning to think in my effort to not overwater, I am doing just the opposite. The day before I had taken a 20 oz. coke bottle full of water and distributed it among the 3 plants. Apparently, they did not appreciate my best efforts to not drown them.

Well here we go again. Watered Monday, came home Tuesday and 2 of them were droopy as hell. The youngest one looked perfectly fine. Took the 2 out and gave them a gallon of water each.

So should I just use tap water that is adjusted to the right PH? I was afraid to use regular tap because of chloramine. Could I boil it or would it just have to set out for a period of time?

So yesterday came home and old droopy was in her prone position. I watered much heavier yesterday with distilled water and finally had run off. Whipped out my brand new PH pen to find that it was defective. So checked the run off with the regular PH reagent kit. Water was slightly acidic...

Gosh I don't know. The only thing they are getting is micro and gro. I started that a couple of weeks ago. I mixed it at half strength and use it ever other watering.

Well, when I check the soil, I go down 3-4 inches and it's bone dry. I have loved way too many houseplants to death by overwatering so I have been really mindful with these guys.

See, I didn't know that. I thought if I fed with bloom it would make them flower early. I will give the charts a look and make some modifications.

So yesterday the bigger plants leaves were droopy. It had been 2 or 3 days since it had been watered. So I watered all of them pretty well. This was yesterday morning. Get home from work today and same thing. Just the biggest plant. So, again I watered it and again in 15 minutes it perked right...
