It isn't really twisting anything. You are feeding your plants. Be it a liquid feed you mix up and apply with water or a dry feed you mix into the medium, it is still feeding.

I don't use CalMag. I use a Liquid Seaweed Plant Food and it claims to be rich in Calcium and Magnesium, I don't get deficiencies, so I guess it is. I also add a TBSP of Epsom Salts to a gallon of feed every few weeks.

I have a pair of T5 LEDs for seedlings. The bulbs were a direct replacement for the 20 year old of T5 fluorescents. The only difference I noticed is that the LEDs gave off zero heat.
