    Longest you’ve vegged for?

About 50 - 60g, but I have no idea how much the 6 month veg ones are going to yield yet to make a factual comparison, but I can tell it is more just by looking at them. Also, I have a pair of plants that are 3rd generation clones (Sweet Zombie by Expert Seeds) and that one has never bloomed and...

    Seedling Cotyledon Leafs Dying?

Peat is horrifically bad for the environment and there are plenty of good alternatives coming on to the market. What makes you think it is overwatered? You can't tell that from the pictures. The mix he is in does look wet, but it made up of plenty of coarse material, so is probably quite free...

    Longest you’ve vegged for?

As I said, better everything. Better size, meaning better yield. They look better, better resin production, they smell sublime, the structure is perfect. Everything you'd expect from a fully mature plant rather than one that has been vegged for just a few weeks.

    Seedling Cotyledon Leafs Dying?

In a couple of years all sales of peat based compost are going to be banned in the UK. To the OP, I really wouldn't worry about the Cotyledons being a bit weird. I have an Auto that is much the same, it was a bit slower to get going than the rest, but got there in the end.

    Longest you’ve vegged for?

The batch I am currently flowering vegged for 6 months. I normally veg for 2 months. The difference is like night and day. Everything about them is better. From now on I am vegging for a minimum of 3 months, more if possible. I have set up a second veg tent and I am planting seeds/taking...

How many plants can I fit into a square meter?

I have never tried it, but it comes from a good supplier, so it should be pretty good. Having just done some investigation on it I reckon it will be going on my "to try" list.

Quantum Boards / Too much Yapping no proof

I went from HPS to COBs and I am very happy with them.

    Light timer - power outage

Stop believing all the hype you read on the internet. A Sonoff basic is a dumb wifi switch. It has no idea what it is connected to, neither does the Google Home app. They are what ever I tell them they are. I have two lighting rigs over two tents. One lighting rig is called Heater and the...

    Light timer - power outage

I have gone with Sonoff Basic Smart Switches and control them via a Google Assistant routine. They never fail.

    Not long now

If you think about the concept of flushing at the end of the flowering cycle it makes no sense at all. When you harvest a plant, any plant that produces a commodity not just weed, that is when you want the plant to be in tip top condition. You aren't going to get that if you starve the thing...

From seed in 55 days, that is a very tall tale indeed.

What size of pots do YOU use indoors?

This is exactly what I do. I use 2 Imperial Gallon pots with a Seaweed enriched Peat moss based compost. Works well.

    Not long now

I only need to flush after I use the toilet. Flushing is complete bro science. It has been proven there is no benefit in doing it. Also, IMHO, neither of those are even close to finishing. The one on the left needs at the very least another 2 weeks, tprobably more and the one on the right...

Skint newbie on a budget in search of good advice.

I see you are in the UK, so am I. Don't bother with B&Q compost it is utter crap, you will get fungus gnats or worse. I grow on a budget, because I can rather than because I have to. It is all about value for money for me. Don't use garden soil either, you have no idea what bugs are in it...

Did you read the OP's post?

    One auto not flowering?

Yep I do autos a dozen at a time and there will always be one or two that either flower earlier or later than the majority.

How much can I take in a topping?

Good point, when I say where I wanted to, I should have said in relation to the other plants so they came out more or less the same when I come to flower.

How much can I take in a topping?

I had a pair like that in my current grow. Just shot up much taller than any of the others, so I just topped it where I wanted to and let it recover. It took a couple of weeks of veg for it to get going again, but it did and all is well with it. The key is recovery time.

Friend dropped plants off, some issues but doesn’t take criticism well

I'll add my two cents worth. Never go 50/50 with anyone on a weed grow, you'll lose friends rapidly. Been there done that.

So what is a Good Sized Pot for an Autoflower

My first run of Autos were in 1.5 Imp Gallon pots, which is nearly 2 US Gallons. They are doing very well, nearly finished. My second run is being done side by side with a third run. One lot are in 2.2 Imp Gallons fabric pots, so 2.6 US Gallons. The others are in the same 1.5 Imp Gallon pots...
