    First Grow Autos

I plant the seeds in these, photos and autos. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B085RNZBCK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I give them a few days in a heated propagator on the shelf in my conservatory. Once they are showing their first true leaves they go in a big pot under...

    Broke my main stem manifolding

Remove the lower leaves and get it under something to create some humidity, clear plastic soda bottles with the end cut off work well. I have done plenty of clones in rock wool.

    Will this still grow

What difference does that make? I run Autos on 20/4, it works for me.

    Will this still grow

The first thing I would do is fill up those pots/bags. There is no point having a nice big pot like that and only half filling them. More root = more weed.

Chicken pellets? Anyone seen this before?

How much chicken manure? I used to use it to pep up cheap tomato compost. I would literally use half a handful of crushed up pellets per imperial gallon.

Chicken pellets? Anyone seen this before?

My guess is dried chicken manure in pellet form.

    Nutrient line???

Personally, I don't think changing you nutes will gain you much more. Tomato feed is perfect for veg. Bio Bizz is great for bloom. I was using Tomato feed across the board during lockdown as it was all I could get. It worked. I am currently using Blattwerk Pure for Veg and Plant Magic...

    Nutrient line???

Why do you think there is anything wrong with your current system? I used Tomato Feed in Veg for years and had no issues.

    The UK Growers Thread!

Get some small lights and find a cupboard or something to keep them alive.

How much longer till harverst ? 1 week ?

The very concept of flushing is complete bro-science. It will have a negative affect on the outcome of your grow.

Changing the light cycle of Autos...

Ok. I have sewn 8 Critical Blue Auto seeds this afternoon and put them in mini seedling bags inside a heated propagator. I have a proper south facing conservatory, it gets full sun all day. I have 3 photos that are nearly finished. I guess I will chop them on Friday. As soon as the Autos...

What are the top 3 strains you've ever grown and why?

I smuggled a glass of that back from Amsterdam to the UK back in the early 2000s. We went all over Amsterdam looking for it. I hid it in the pocket of some dirty jeans at the bottom of my back pack, my theory was that if I caught I could claim I'd forgotten it was there. All was well, until...

What are the top 3 strains you've ever grown and why?

    1. Shiva Shanti by Sensi Seeds. It was the first strain I ever grew. I bought the seeds whilst wasted in Amsterdam. It had a lovely Purple phenotype that I cloned for years, it was back when I sold it to make extra cash. People would pay extra for the Purple. 2. A "California Orange" I got...

    Nutrients

TBH most of these nutrient solutions are much of a muchness. I used to use Bio Bizz, then I used Tomato feed and cal mag. Now I used Plant Magic Old TImers Bloom & PK 4-8 with a periodic touch of Epsom Salts for Flowering and Blattwerk Pure with the periodic touch of Epsom Salts for Veg. I...

Why avoid autoflowers when learning to grow?

When growing from seed I have found runts with photos too. I am just starting my second run with Autos and am finding them to be much less work than photos. Having never worked with them before I am finding my first run to be very rewarding, the results so far have been totally consistent with...

Why avoid autoflowers when learning to grow?

I am not implying anything. Growing any crop will always be a compromise, always. Give a fruit less sun light and it will take longer to ripen, the same is true any flowering plant. A less than ideal temperature will also have an affect. Also I will add that the breeders generally give quite...

Why avoid autoflowers when learning to grow?

Yes it does. Environment is everything.

Why avoid autoflowers when learning to grow?

Having been to the Sensi Seeds "grow lab" in Amsterdam I can see where breeders get their flowering times from. (I went in and came out a different man, I can remember going in there, I can remember coming out and turning right. Next thing I know it is 4am and we are walking the streets...

Changing the light cycle of Autos...

Hi. I currently have 4 x White Skunk Autos in the same tent as some flowering photos, they are all on a light cycle of 12/12. The photos are nearly finished and I am going to fill the space they occupied with 8 x Critical Blue Autos. The 4 Autos I have in there already are on about week 3/4...
