I really didn't want to create another thread. Can someone explain to me how much a 1000W bulb / unit will use? How is it calculated is that 1000w's every second, minute, hour or what?

CFL's just plug into any standard screw type or bayonet type socket. They are made for todays lighting anywhere you would use a regular incandescent bulb.

What is this statement based upon, just your opinion? Can you point me to some kind of factual evidence to support this? The reason I ask is because I have just finished reading " Marijuana for less" by See More Buds and he uses CFL's the whole time for 8oz's of smokeable.
