well yea, thats what i originally thought but its purely below the soil and not nearly as neon yellow... Im pretty sure it was just the pile of nutrients i put in one spot instead of mixing around like a smart person... all covered over with Mycelium

yeesh... yea that would have freaked me out... thankfully, at least for now it is just under the soil... thinking about it, i guess this is what i wanted? Weird living soil :D

Thank you for responding... yea im not at all worried about springtails and crawlies, theres no gnats or pests in that room. More of the spongy mass of yellow mold/ nutrient clump, maybe a little white mold in there too... but ive pretty much decided it was beneficial mycelium, busted the clumps...

I mean thats fine if you like the aesthetics of HLG225. You do you... Just know for future, your just plugging 2 wires in the same way any person at HLG does... Your getting 5 -7 years on the Driver Warranty no matter what. So your paying $200 extra for a warranty on a $69 board that isnt likely...

I personally just put QB96 boards on XLG 200 -HA drivers... $69 for QB96 and $39 for XLG 200... same exact light for $108 each, retail... You dont get that fancy extra black Aluminum plate...
