    Par/Lux Meter hack

yes, but then add 10% of that, so your at about 795 PAR, ive seen to add 10% on the final factor by what the comparisons say of the Apoggie 500 meter. BUT, more red or lower K factor, the percentages get lower. 5000K+ 16% 4500K+ 13% 4000K+ 10% 3500K+ 7% 3000K+4% 2500K+1% So, a 4000K lux...

    2.75 x 2.75 cabinet. Critiques/ suggestions before ordering cobs

the yellow line is the shadow cuttoff from the reflectors. there was no need for photons to even go there, so, in my case anyways, reflectors work perfectly.

    2.75 x 2.75 cabinet. Critiques/ suggestions before ordering cobs

i thought so too, because i was told i didnt need them, and i did endup getting them recently, and they help tremendously. the amount of reflection from the walls is overrated, HIGHLY. To each their own tho,. I got an additional 30% PAR boost from them, and it cut SOME of the walls reflection...

    2.75 x 2.75 cabinet. Critiques/ suggestions before ordering cobs

4 luminus, 1- hlg-320-c1400B, with reflectors, and holders, $203 Get the lidl angelina reflectors, that would rock your area, 800 PAR is the magic value for these at 21 inches, @ 300watts.

    New to cobs

those are tiny spaces man, Your better off just doing a 12/12 from seed in solo cups. put 2 cobs in each space, 6 solos in each space, for total of 12 plants. the reason for doing this a its better to have a small SeaOfGreen, then 1 plant, that will be overgrown for the area. You need fans for...

    Full spectrum led?

and for all BS aside, for $288 your better off getting 2x Mars300 and putting lenses in them. $160 bucks, with lens.. Cant remember what it was, like 1000 PAR at 32 inches,
  19. InTheValley

    Full spectrum led?

from the center to the outter edge of light, there is a 50% drop off. For every 1inche after that, loses about 50 par. The further down, drop off is a bit less then higher up, of course @ 50% total from center to edge of 2x2. that makes sense, so at 21 inches seems to be the sweet spot for best...
