    the orange one,? dr. meter LX1330b is the one i use. use the 60 conversion, you should get a great idea of the PAR.

    i agree, if anything the farthest outside might lack intense photons, but overall, what you gain on the inside will make it not even a factor. unless of course the grow is in the middle of a warehouse with 1-2 feets from edge to wall. Im waiting on my PAR meter, should be here in 10 minutes...

    you also have to keep in mind you may need a humidifier, especially in winter months. home heating drastically reduces humidity in a home. RH under 40% will totally stop growing. 60-70% daytime( lights on) 40% night time ( lights off )

    it must be at least 12inchs from the canopy to get anything worth the time. 15 inches if you put a reflective material around THE LIGHT, so it condenses the lumens in a better fashion. Light a big flashlight.
