I reckon it's from the PGRs. That weed started as a dozen or so seeds back in 2012 and went about 20 generations of clones, then I was moving cities so I did the old "Bruce Jenner" on one with colloidal silver, made seeds and started up again last year. Of all those 20 or more generations this...

I don't need to impugn anyone's rigor to do that.

I can't even figure out if he and duck guy are insulting you or me or both of us, I'm pretty much just following it for the entertainment value at this point while I cut the rot out of 190 ounces of garbage weed.

Seems to me it's you and the duck avatar guy hiding under the bridge eating billy goats mate, you're the two antagonizing everyone and calling people names. I just asked a question about bud rot and the samson guy is the only one talking any common sense. This thread's gone off the rails.

Out of everything you've said today brother, that's the one thing you got right. We can say with a reasonable degree of certainty that residual PBZ in cannabis is safe but we cannot say what happens to the fraction of that PBZ that gets burned. It might be harmful and it might be in...

Yeah it's unbelievable what a world class douche bag someone can turn into with the anonymity afforded by a screen, a keyboard and a dark room. I grew the same strain for seven years with mostly organic nutes. If I wasn't stinking like weed I was stinking like fish. I run PGRs one time at the...

I'd love to hear how you think I should educate my customer's customers on PGRs. I've never met any of them and I'm not keen to and they all live about ten hours drive away. There must be hundreds of them. I figured educating my customer was the best way to go about it. Sounds more like you...

Supposedly, Paclobutrazol makes one or more nitrosamines under thermal decomposition. Nitrosamines are those things in cured smallgoods that get produced from curing salt when you cook it and are generally accepted to be the reason bacon gives you cancer. I can't find any data on which...

Not my job, I have one customer who takes it all. That's his job and he was given all the information he needs and asked if he wanted this stuff grown PGR or not. you want me to stick a warning label on every Oz? Maybe I should email every stoner in the country or hand out flyers or something.

This is gold. I've really kicked the hornet's nest. Seriously PGRs need a sticky.

Right on. you can't have a conversation with someone who picks a few words he likes out of a post you made, strings them together to suit him and then plasters you with them.

Grow up. You and I both know that data doesn't exist. There isn't even any data on oral, dermal or inhalation effects of the chemicals on humans. A couple of animal studies and that's it. I read the ones I could find ages ago when I was considering going the PGR route and from memory they were...

    Early pollination?! NEED INPUT!

looks fine to me. the earliest pistils turn orange and wilt long before the latest pistils have even formed, especially on strains with elongated flowering times. if it's the first time you've run them just keep charging and see how it goes. leaves look good, no sign of nute burn and that's...

I didn't ask him if he wants to be poisoned. Maybe I should have just to be sure, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't. I wonder if he asks his customers. Fortunately for everyone concerned, there is absolutely no hard evidence that residual PGRs in cannabis, when smoked, cause harm. Quite a bit of...

Yes quite right, humidity should have been low. I actually have two portable ACs in the doorway where the intake is, and they make a fair bit of water. The extractor fan is quite a high CFM unit too so I would have thought humidity would not be a problem. I don't have a humidity meter in the...

We could debate whether using PGRs is a good thing or a bad thing all day long and never come to agreement on anything so I guess the best thing to do is agree to disagree. I told the guy I grow this for exactly what I understand about PGRs which is this: "They make the bud denser and heavier...

So bud rot can be brown and crispy like that? I've never seen it before so I don't really know what to look for. I thought it was more like wilted mouldy looking stuff.

AC runs in the air intake 24/7, so it also dehumidifies the intake air. The room is extracted 24 hours with a 200mm centrifugal fan at about 400 watts if I recall correctly, so quite a lot of air flow. room is probably about 8 square meters.

Totally. But I don't smoke, wouldn't smoke it if I did, it's what the customer wants and I get paid by the Oh-Zed.
