It would be interesting to see it grow 1 plant in the 3ft x 3ft, not 2. If it's doing well in a 2x2 surely it could do well with 1 plant in 3ftx3ft?

@Moflow anything from 12'' - 18'' away for the hps. Got 2 plants in each of most of the tents. I can tell now they are getting in each others way and would love to be grown alone. Just been there to feed the bloody things again. lol Going big pot hunting now. May transplant some auto's into...

Sorry I should have been more clear. I use canna coco a & b only for 1 feed, then next feed is cal mag only with no base nutes. It seems to reset everything nicely. Like a 200ppm (tds) mild cal mag flush to help plant feed better of the a & b feed which is around 600ppm (tds)

I feed cal mag at 50% extra dose on top of normal dose. So 1.5ml per litre instead of 1ml. Then next feed I feed canna a & b. My plants love being fed like this. Try it for a few weeks. They might like it...

@Moflow Great looking plants there. Really tidy set up. Thanks again for par maps. It does make me think why is a 400w hps so good in terms of yield, when the par is so bad?

If I used a light that didn't light up the edges very well, with 4 plants in a 3ft x 3ft tent, surely that would be a problem... But if I'm growing just 1 plant and it's getting all the light anyway and most of the light in the centre, will it not use the energy to fatten up side colas anyway...

Automazar is very nice and yields well. Going to do that again. I'd like to do think different again too.

I don't have central heating in my flat. What I mean by I'd have to be at my flat at 7pm everyday is because I would have to water them then after the dark period. When the lights are on all the windows need to be open, even in the winter. They all need to be shut when the lights are off.

What I'm trying to say is the high electric bill concerns come in a distant 2nd to my freedom and lifestyle choices.
