It's all preference,I saw your other post about drying. Trimming or not trimming is preference, I perfer to trim before I hang and sometimes I get lazy and let some buds dry untrimmed I don't see a difference in smoke but it doesn't hurt to keep them on, as far as curing goes wait atleast 5-7...

Hey man nothing wrong with taking partially dead or dead leaves no matter where they are, taking buds from the tops helps the lower branches get light and bud up. Look at the pics I posted, trimmed off all tops that were healthy, could've waited but there's lots to go around happy smoking. :)

Yeah I've heard the stories never intend to hurt anyone, a warning shot in some cases is needed, if they would like to return fire I'm prepared, retired vets and farmers tend to stand their ground, I hope that day never comes happy smoking :)
