    It's all preference,I saw your other post about drying. Trimming or not trimming is preference, I perfer to trim before I hang and sometimes I get lazy and let some buds dry untrimmed I don't see a difference in smoke but it doesn't hurt to keep them on, as far as curing goes wait atleast 5-7...

    Hey man nothing wrong with taking partially dead or dead leaves no matter where they are, taking buds from the tops helps the lower branches get light and bud up. Look at the pics I posted, trimmed off all tops that were healthy, could've waited but there's lots to go around happy smoking. :)

    I do the same as you taking off what I can, you don't want to go crazy and take off everyone it'll probably stress your plant out a bit happy smoking :)

    Skip the castings and do what your doing plus bat shit and perlite you'll be laughing, a fert is needed during late veg earl flowering but really...it's not needed lol. Natural outdoor grows rule happy smoking :)
