It was organic potting compost from local gardening centre...might well have been in that... I got the gnatrol from amazon, live a long way from a hydro shop...

Yeah, rather not have them there. Somebody said cucumber in tinfoil let's off a chemical reaction that bugs don't like. Threw a bit of that in last nite. Have some gnatrol ordered, so will give that a shot if they persist...thanks for the help...
