So, at least once per day I drop my bags to check out my roots. There're 40 gallons to start with, and the fact that I open them completely up everyday, makes me think my roots get all the o2 they need. Personally, I think you should ditch the 5 gallon buckets asap.

Without seeing your girls it's hard to say, but 850 still seems pretty high. I'm still at 300 or so, mine are a month in. How big are they, and what kind of root mass are we talkin?

Durability/dependability. I wish my tank was rated that high. although if you're thinking of running that kind of pressure, I think it's been determined that 100 or so psi is ideal. I think when you start blasting your roots with 150+, the environment no longer promotes delicate root hairs.
