DWC Solar Storm 440 LED X 2 First grow(Comments Welcome)

This thing is cool and all, and would be possible to actually search for microscopic pests, but I'm thinking of getting a simple jewlers loupe for simple and easy trichome checking.

DWC Solar Storm 440 LED X 2 First grow(Comments Welcome)

Yea I have the general idea and have looked at them at one of my local buddies in his many grows. But viewing them on the digital microscope through my computer screen is a little different. So without knowing how cloudy they can become before going amber on that screen I won't have a good gauge...

DWC Solar Storm 440 LED X 2 First grow(Comments Welcome)

I am looking to do a bucket swap though as my nutrient mix has to be out of whack. Ppm has been gradually going up. I'm figuring my tap is 150-200ppm of mystery juice so every time I'm adding to the buckets that shit is stacking up on top of what ever was excess nutrient. So probably give them...

Also I haven't made mention of it but I'm still benny free and ph problem free with no bucket swaps in high temps with peroxide alone.

Day 38 Flower So I pulled out the scope, and I'd say they are getting more cloudy and maybe I'm seeing what cloudy really is. I still don't really see any amber though so I'm thinking it may still have another week or two? New to this so don't have to much of a gauge for time remaining. Edit...

    Rosin King 3x5 dual-heat Review

And plate size really all comes down to how much you want to run at a time(assuming you have the pressure to deal with the increased surface area.) So if you ever find your self questioning someone's plate size, it may simply be due to the amount you run and not feeling like you would want to or...

    Rosin King 3x5 dual-heat Review

Thinking about it, maybe you don't consider that dual heating rods because each one isn't temperature controlled? I think the idea is heating at two points can have the ability to hold a more even temperature across the surface of the plates. I say can because it's not guaranteed. Single heating...

Awww sounds boring lol. I just can't keep it that simple! I don't have much experience yet but it sounds like some strains can have some decently drastic different needs. I don't see how you could consistently, grow to grow strain to strain have no unhappy plants without adjusting ratios of the...

    Rosin King 3x5 dual-heat Review

I really am open to starting off at 200 though. I realize not all presses are the same and a lot of it will come down to the quality of the setup as well as product. Others may need to set there's to 250 to make up for cold spots or uneven heating. Or maybe to make up for the lack in pressure.

    Rosin King 3x5 dual-heat Review

I've heard the rectangular ones are more weed specific as the rosin will have more area to escape to. The square design I was told was more for the t shirt presses. I mean so far in this thread it seems most of what I've read has been garbage. But hey here's my first grow a couple weeks from...

    Rosin King 3x5 dual-heat Review

Well I guess I would kind of like to be able to run more at a time. I'm growing my bud and would like to make a complete switch to wax. It would be nice if I didn't have to press 60 times every harvest lol. I was thinking since I was moving over to a real deal hydraulic press I would have plenty...

    Rosin King 3x5 dual-heat Review

Close! The ones on Amazon are 4x7. I'll for sure start down there for temp on your recommendation, where do you hear about people pressing that low? The lowest I've really heard was at some tech show where they were demoing new presses their "secret" perfect temp was 240

Before you do! I'm in love with Cana A+B setup. It's a A+B for veg and a different A+B for flower. Check it out.

    Rosin King 3x5 dual-heat Review

And I completely agree with dual heating plates seeming to be key. In retrospect to yodas comment, with reading about the material it seems if you were pressing at over 500 degrees then yes it could potentially be harmful. But from my reading I don't see much sense in pressing over 320 so I...

    Rosin King 3x5 dual-heat Review

Lol you read my mind!!! I was figuring a 12 ton would be more then enough (especially compared to the supposed 600lb limit with the one I was previously looking at) I was gonna get your same plates they had on Amazon for 319.99. Looks like they easily mount onto the jack cylinder and bam, top...
