Any way to make them finish quicker?

So close to the finish line with my 1x blueberry and 1x super lemon haze. They are both "overdue", the blueberry by 1-2 weeks (it is 10 weeks today), the super lemon haze, by the calendar, should have finished around this weekend. The super lemon haze has a lot of *lower* buds that are very...

Drying - how dark does it have to be?

Thanks folks. It might get a little warm in there, but I intend on putting some foil shiny side up over the box to reflect the radiant heat from the light. Hopefully this should keep it under about 80 degrees. Do you mean don't put them directly under the light, or are you referring to me...

SLH @ 8 weeks - Yellowing and dying leaves

Thanks folks. I will try to get a picture today. Growing in coco under correct ph with Canna Coco A&B and Buddhas Tree PK 18/19, damn well shouldnt be a deficiency, so I hope that the others are correct that its just natural. Watch this space.... I will of course let her go full term...

Drying - how dark does it have to be?

Just wondering, if I shade an area of my grow tent and hang buds to dry there (there is another plant finishing in there), will that be ok, or does it have to be *totally* dark? I'm thinking a cardboard box with a couple of holes in the sides for airflow.

    When?When?When?

My bad Commander Sir, a case of simply not reading thoroughly. Carry on! Nothing to see here!

    When?When?When?

It will help you to get a correct answer if you tell us what medium you are growing in. Hydro / coco need nutes earlier than soil owing to the complete lack of nutrient in the medium.

SLH @ 8 weeks - Yellowing and dying leaves

I have a Super Lemon Haze at 8 and a half weeks into flowering. Last week, due to unexpected visitors, I was unable to water it for three days in the middle of a heatwave. This caused her to wilt and several leaves turned yellow and died. I have resumed normal watering and feeding, and she is...

Drying for the first time, any input ?

I have the same problem, one girl still flowering. I am using a carboard box placed just outside the grow tent, with the end of the intake duct shoved into a hole at the bottom of the box, so the tent exhaust fan is drawing air in through my drying box first. If you have any ingenious methods...

Questions about flushing and harvest time

The other came down today and as it turned out it was plenty mature enough, mostly cloudy trichs all over. Crystally as can be, I'm quite pleased so far. Next question: How can I keep the smell down when harvesting / drying? Because I have 3 strains with different flowering times, it's not...

Questions about flushing and harvest time

Yeah, I know....it's a sad thing to have to do, but I have to prioritise the photoperiods over the autos, as the autos just won't give the same yield. Plus the photos are some kickass genetics by the looks of things! One is already down, the other coming down today. In three weeks she has...

Questions about flushing and harvest time

Yep, I'm aware of this train of thought. I'm flushing for a week as a precaution more than anything else, since noone has chimed in with any other thoughts, I'll work on the assumption that one week will be plenty. My blueberry photperiod is just coming to the end of week seven, but the...

Haha I was fully expecting one to be honest, but, ironically, noone has replied yet!

Questions about flushing and harvest time

I have a couple of autos that I really need out of the way. My tent is too full, and I want to make room for the two photos I have so they don't end up developing bud rot simply because they didn't have enough space. However, neither is quite ready. One of them has all brown / orange pistils...

    Mould prevention

This thread is very helpful. I found some mould on some dead leaves that had dropped into my waste tray today. I have removed them, added bleach to the water in the waste tray and stirred it. I hope this will hit the problem, but if not, it sounds like Actinovate might be the answer? I am 6...

Can you do anything about aphids halfway into flower?

Good, thanks. I have some pyrethrum so I will use that if things go bad.

Can you do anything about aphids halfway into flower?

Final question, I've read that pyrethrum can be used up to 24 hours before harvest, is this true? Will it not leave any trace on the buds?

Can you do anything about aphids halfway into flower?

No room for other plants in there, and to be honest, I don't want to have any kind of pest in the tent at all, so killing them is preferable to giving them something else to eat!

Can you do anything about aphids halfway into flower?

Done. Soon as the pesky pests were spotted the chili plants were taken outside and sprayed with insecticide. They will stay outside now. If they die they die. Thanks - whilst I'm not bothered about organic (I'm using Canna Coco nutes), the NukeEm stuff sounds good as it leaves no residue...
