i havent had any problems with pathogens, all that happens is the micro organisms feeds and breaks down the organic matter its a natural process once all the sugars and material is broken down the microbes go dorment anyways i beleive until more organic material is added.. good question though...

yeah i look at the buds mostly!! once mine were over half turned amber i chopped it and hung it to dry before bottling to cure and yeah i guess you wont be moving those anywhere lol should still beable to get a good idea either way you do it really!

looks like a healthy plant you should not have any troubles re-rooting that!! you transplanted it outside did you? get yourself some un-sulfered molasses to mix in your water every other watering makes your soil healthy and helps with bud and resin production!! good luck and happy growing:weed:

hard to say how big is the plant? is it already started to flower? if it still has half the root system it should still beable to repair itself in the next couple week... i would expect a stunt in growth cause its gonna have to re-establish its root system.. if you have access too a seaweed...
