I read somewhere that they will prescribe medical marijuana for menstrual cramps. I am done with midol and advil. The only thing is I haven't gone to a doctor about it because I know they would prescribe me birth control which is something I don't want. What do you guys suggest?

What would I have to acquire before calling? I need a license first correct? Also, I read somewhere that medical marijuana helps menstrual cramps, is that accurate?
